Piano lessons with Kurt are personally customized to each individual student. The most important thing is knowing exactly what to practice and how to do it with understanding and clarity.
Too many teachers make things the way they want to do them. The most important thing is that the student approves and likes what they are doing. This way the enthusiasm is maintained while the more difficult tasks are approached with a desire to be better.
What age should students begin? Simply when they are reading fluently. Some students are more mature at five years of age than some who are ten years of age. The most important issue for beginning children is that a parent should be at their side during lessons and learn with their child until the child feels confident and secure. This will maximize your money and time.

- Lessons are billed monthly and can be paid via Paypal, Venmo, Google Pay or any other payment agreed upon between the student and the teacher. Payments are due at the first of every month.
- Thirty, forty five and one hour lessons are available. Tuition rates will be discussed personally due to so many variations of global currencies. Tuition covers 4 lessons per month, when there are five lessons in one month a proration will be charged for the additional lesson.
- Your Time Slot: The time you select when you register is your time slot. This spot is reserved for you to have access to piano lessons. Your time slot will not be given to any other student. So, whether you come to your lessons or not one makeup will be given per semester. A CANCELLATION MADE THE DAY OF THE LESSON WILL NOT BE MADE UP.
- Teacher cancellations: If I am unable to teach for any reason I will credit your account for the following month for 25% of the monthly tuition or reschedule the time with you.
- Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your lessons time. Contact for online lessons will be one minute before the lesson begins. (In the rare event of internet issues all students must default to their cell phone via Whatsapp. Please keep it quiet in my studio. No friends allowed. I need a distraction free studio. Parents please control your non-lesson child. A quiet studio is a happy studio!
- Lessons online are excellent with Whatsapp, Facetime, and better with Google Meet.
PIANO MUSIC: PURCHASES OF MUSIC ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. Amazon, Ebay, and local music stores provide an endless variety of music. There are legal free websites to obtain music. Simply search for free legal music and enjoy the possibilities!
